"Righi's recognition as an "environmental artist" can understate the fine composition of her artwork, the technical detail of intricacies of light and shadow are reminiscent of the work of Ansell Adams, and her ability to manipulate depth of field are enviable, comparing her works to photographers such as Gurtzky.  

Regardless of photographic technique, emotional impact is a more important element, much of the work I see these days lacks emotional content, but Righi's work carries the viewer and continues to evoke deep emotion in a modernistic world... 

Her desire to serve the viewer a story captured, a slice of natural existence, or to "freeze time for the spectator to see" as she puts it in her own words, is clearly achieved in her latest exhibition. "
